Finally uploaded the videos

I finally uploaded the videos. I decided it would be easier to combine all of the pitches together in one video. I describe how to grip the ball and how to throw it. I show how to throw a two-seam, four-seam, claw-grip change up, curveball and knuckleball. The video is about 3 minutes long with the directions on how to throw the pitches with me demonstrating the pitches. The URL to the videos is here.

Videos will be up soon

I sill havent recorded the videos because the field has been to wet but with the weather clearing up and starting to become warmer we should be able to take the tarps off the main field mound. Im not sure when we will because the weather isnt supposed to be nice for the next week but as soon as it becomes clear I will record the videos.

Still havent recorded

I still havent been able to re-record or record anymore videos because the gym hasn't been open for me to get in and record. It is open after school but most people have track or golf which makes it hard to find a catcher. The only thing I really have to say is that the coaches are building up the bullpen mounds out by the field. This means that I can go anytime I just have to talk to them to take off the tarps. I will have a friend or family member record it so I should be fine. I will let you know when I upload the video

Getting Better

Since the last post we haven't used used used mounds yet, we have been throwing off of flat ground.  Im not sure when we will be using them for the first time. There is something that is an advantage of us throwing off flat ground which is I am able to practice all of the pitches I am supposed to be throwing. This will make it ten times easier when going to record the actual pitches. There isn't really anything else I can say besides I will keep you updated. I feel like I repeat myself in every blog but that should all change when I record the video again.

Redo of first video

Ok so when I said I would upload the first video I noticed that I was throwing from fifteen feet farther than I should have been. I mean I noticed when I was recording but I only thought it was because it has been about six months so I was getting use to it because it has been so long. During recording I was getting frustrated with myself because I was unable to make it to the make unknowing the distance I was trying to throw. So I decided I was going to wait until we started actually practicing for baseball then I would use the mounds meant for inside. So we haven't started using them yet but when we do I will come in on a weekend an re record the first video plus I will be able to record and upload the other sets of pitches faster. So I will post the url and other info about the video when it is uploaded

Ready to post

This blog is going to be shorter than one I would normally make. The only things that i really need to tell you is that I have recorded the first set of pitches and that I have it mostly edited the way I wanted it. I planned on uploading it within the next two weeks. I will let you know when I upload it along with the link to the website. Besides that I also know when I am going to record the next set which will only be about two weeks after I upload the first set. These are the only things I really have to tell you in this blog so I will keep you updated.

The first video

I was unable to post the first video when I wanted but I had family matters come up. Then it just drifted out of my mind, but now today I will be recording the first set of pitches. It is January 13 and all I have been doing today is planning out in my head of when I am going to record and post each one of these videos. The pitches I am recording today are the main two fastballs. The four seem and the two seam. I will most likely edit them. I am not sire if I am going to post them to youtube because I also havent made my mind of whether or not I would be recording the other two fastball pitches, the cutter and the splitter. If I were to record those other two pitches I would first make sure that the two and four seams look good. Then I woudl go back to record the cutter and splitter the next day or two. I was thinking of maybe posting these pitches when I start to record the next set which will be the breaking balls. It would be about another week or two before I start to record. I will let you know what is going on and when I post the first video. I will also add the link to youtube so it will be easier to find.
